Job summary

Conexson is seeking Personal Care Workers for casual, flexible shifts in Aged Care around Tweed Heads, NSW. You will provide safe, person-centered care to residents and assist with daily living activities, mobility, hygiene, and meals.

The role offers weekly pay, flexible shifts, and the support of a busy healthcare staffing agency with opportunities across leading residential facilities. Applicants should hold Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent, have at least 12 months PCW

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a PCW (experience within a RAC is a must).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for caring for older Australians.
• Valid Working Rights in Australia.
• Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and up-to-date vaccinations (including flu and COVID-19).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, person-centered care to residents
• Assist residents with daily living activities including hygiene, mobility, and meals
• Support residents' independence, dignity, and well-being
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other care staff
• Maintain accurate care documentation in line with facility standards
