Job summary

Uniting AgeWell Limited is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to join the Strath-Haven community in Bendigo on a part-time basis. You will support the Lifestyle Coordinator by delivering engaging lifestyle programs tailored to residents’ needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with assessments, evaluating resident interests, and delivering excellent service while fostering compassionate relationships with residents and relatives.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
• Current Working with Vulnerable People and other mandatory checks.
• Experience in residential aged care is valued.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and delivery of lifestyle programs for residents.
• Assist with assessments and ongoing evaluation of residents’ cultural, recreational and leisure needs.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional relationships with residents and families.
