Job summary

Ozcare in Mackay is seeking friendly Client Services Assistants for our aged care facility. casual positions focusing on meals, cleaning, laundry and general support to our clients to help them live their best lives.

Ideal applicants are warm, caring, flexible and willing to work across a varied roster. Experience in cleaning or kitchen environments is preferred, influenza vaccination and police screening are required.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within the last 3 years).
• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Previous experience in assisting frail aged persons.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook.
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required.
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services.
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with emphasis on WH&S areas such as toilets and floors.
