Job summary

Beechworth Health Service in Beechworth, VIC, is seeking part-time and casual Health Care Workers for their aged care facility. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and Registered Nurse to provide quality, person-centered care to residents.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved TAFE course for Health Care Workers at Certificate 3 or higher.
• Current First Aid Certificate - Level 2.
• Food Safety Certificate.
• Current NDIS Clearance or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and ongoing assessment of residents under supervision to develop individual care plans.
• Deliver person-centered care under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and Registered Nurse.
• Liaise with managers and assist in problem solving to address issues as they arise.

Education

Certificate III or higher Health Care Worker

First Aid Certificate - Level 2

Food Safety Certificate

NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
