Job summary

Beechworth Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse – Acute (Part-Time 0.60 EFT) to join a supportive team in Beechworth, VIC. The role focuses on person-centred care within an inclusive workplace and offers opportunities for development and career progression.

Key duties include acting as a clinical resource, supervising care staff, and planning and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with the health team. AHPRA registration and relevant standards knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Competent with ANMAC standards.
• Knowledge of back care programs and OH&S in acute/residential aged care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in absence of Nurse Unit Manager to ensure efficient resource use and quality care.
• Act as clinical resource and supervise/jointly mentor Enrolled Nurses and care staff.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient/resident care with the health team.
