Job summary

Access Aged Care in Australia is seeking General Practitioners to provide on-site care within Residential Aged Care Homes across Ingham and surrounding regions. This role offers weekday hours only, with no after-hours or on-call requirements, and includes dedicated nursing support to coordinate rounds and follow-up care.

• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner.
• RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
• Availability of 1 day per week initially, with opportunity to increase.
• Comfortable with technology, including system-based reporting and common clinical software.
• A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this role.

About The Role

Access Aged Care is seeking expressions of interest from General Practitioners to provide on-site care within Residential Aged Care Homes across Ingham and surrounding regions.

This opportunity offers weekday hours only, with no after-hours, weekends or on-call requirements. With dedicated after-hours support in place, you can switch off between sessions and protect your personal time.

You will work with a consistent cohort of residents, allowing you to deliver proactive, relationship-based care and build meaningful long-term clinical relationships.

An Access Aged Care Nurse supports your rounds, residents and follow-up care, helping coordinate care plans, investigations and communication with homes so your sessions run smoothly and efficiently.
