Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant to help prepare meals for residents in our aged care homes. You will prep food and drink, help keep spaces clean, and work with our team and residents to create meals that cater to individual needs.

You’ll keep records as part of our Food Safety Program, stay on your feet for most of your shift, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive workplace across multiple homes on the Central Coast, NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals in aged care or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow resident dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and drinks for residents.
• Keep kitchen and dining spaces clean and hygienic.
• Work with team and residents to tailor meals to individual needs.
