Job summary

IRT Moruya is seeking two Permanent Part-Time Aged Care Employees to support residents' physical and emotional wellbeing, providing personalized care and empathetic companionship to enhance daily life.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, medication support, and enabling participation in activities; successful applicants will complete pre-employment checks and a National Criminal History Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent.
• Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector.
• A big heart — you're empathetic, adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible.

• Assisting our residents with their daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility
• Helping with medication and simple wound dressings

About the Role

As an Aged Care Employee at IRT Moruya, you'll directly support our residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!

We currently have two Permanent Part-Time Aged Care Employee (ACE) positions available.

Wednesdays from 7:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 6:30am to 2:00pm.

Mondays from 3:00pm to 11:00pm and Wednesdays 6:30am to 2:00pm.

Your work may include:

• Assisting our residents with their daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility
• Helping with medication and simple wound dressings
• Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent
