Job summary

Benalla Health in Victoria is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Education Team on a fixed-term contract to support Residential Aged Care (Morrie Evans Wing). The Aged Care Clinical Support Nurse will coordinate and deliver education, coaching and practice development activities to translate evidence-based aged care practice into daily resident care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in residential aged care nursing practice.
• Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education, coaching and mentoring.
• Experience supporting practice change and implementation of evidence-based care.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with managers and clinical leaders to embed sustainable practice improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver education, coaching, mentoring and practice development activities.
• Support translation of evidence-based aged care practice into everyday resident care.
• Work within Residential Aged Care Services (Morrie Evans Wing) to strengthen staff knowledge and skills.
