Job summary

GOC Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our Brisbane team, delivering in-home aged care and disability support to clients living independently in their homes and communities.

You will assist with personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation, social support and transport to appointments, while maintaining clients' wellbeing and independence. Flexible shifts include weekday, community support, and some sleepover duties.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain.
• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Current Working with Children Check desirable for Disability Support Workers.
• Current driver's licence.
• Reliable and registered vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including reaching, bending, lifting and transferring clients.

About Us

GOC Care is an experienced Community Service Provider that has been caring for the community for over 40 years. We provide community-based services across Brisbane Metropolitan, Brisbane North and South, Redlands, and the Gold Coast regions.

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Aged Care Workers and Disability Support Workers to join our growing team and support clients living independently within their homes and communities.

Essential Requirements

• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain

• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) desirable for Disability Support Workers

• Current driver's licence

• Reliable and registered vehicle

• Eligibility to work in Australia

• Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, including reaching, bending, lifting and transferring clients
