Job summary

Cater Care is seeking an experienced chef for a part-time position at St Andrew’s, Georges Cottages, Byron Bay. You will prepare nutritious, appealing meals tailored to residents’ needs, including texture-modified diets, ensuring meals are prepared with care and attention to detail.

You will work four days per week with set hours, and receive uniform, training and career development opportunities, plus staff discounts and access to EAP support.

Qualifications

• Requires a recognised trade qualification in cookery.
• Experience in aged care catering and understanding residents' dietary needs.
• Ability to prepare texture-modified meals and accommodate dietary requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in a busy kitchen.
• Commitment to culinary quality, presentation and resident wellbeing.
