Job summary

Cater Care Group in Byron Bay is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at St Andrew’s, Georges Cottages. You will prepare nutritious, appetising meals tailored to residents' needs, including texture-modified options, ensuring meals are presented with care.

This role is part-time, four days per week, with uniforms provided and access to ongoing training and employee discounts. You’ll work in a supportive kitchen that values dignity, wellbeing and high kitchen standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care catering and understanding residents’ dietary needs.
• Trade qualification in cookery.
• Ability to prepare texture-modified meals.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to culinary quality, presentation and resident wellbeing.
• Willingness to meet site pre-employment checks (Police check and flu vaccination).
