Job summary

RFBI Basin View Village is seeking an experienced Catering Officer to deliver high-quality food service for residents. Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will prepare meals in line with safety programs and nutritional guidelines and assist in functions as needed.

The role requires Safe Food Handling qualifications and a Certificate III in Hospitality is desirable. Knowledge of WH&S and manual handling is essential. Join a supportive team at RFBI with attractive rates.

Qualifications

• Safe Food Handling and Preparation qualifications are required.
• Knowledge of food safety principles and elderly dietary needs is preferred.
• WH&S responsibilities and manual handling must be understood.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals compliant with food safety programs and nutritional guidelines.
• Provide high quality, efficient food service and dining area setup.
• Assist in meal preparation for special functions.
• Serve meals and drinks to residents during meal times.
• Maintain a clean work environment and manage dishwashing in a timely manner.
