Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Carer to deliver high-quality, person-centred care at Dorothy Boyt Care Home in Malabar. You will support residents with daily living, dignity and independence, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance comfort and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Minimum six months' experience providing personal care.
• NDIS worker screening clearance.
• Experience using electronic care management/digital documentation systems.
• Australian working rights.
• Good availability for shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and other physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe, document residents’ care and progress.
• Follow care plans and respond to residents’ needs and preferences.
• Escalate changes in a resident’s condition to the Registered Nurse or appropriate leader.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and care team members.
• Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, safety and independence.
