Job summary

RFBI's Masonic Village in Cessnock is seeking an experienced aged care carer to support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities. You will join a dedicated care team focused on compassionate, person-centred care.

Requirements include Certificate III in Aged Care, current First Aid, good communication, and prior aged care experience. You will document observations in iCare and work flexible rosters in a supportive, award-winning organisation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom residents and assist with meals.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and medication delivery.
• Record basic clinical observations and enter reports into iCare.
• Support care management for diabetes and other conditions.
• Follow directions of the Care Manager to deliver person-centred care.
