Uniting Tamworth is seeking qualified PPT Care Workers to join our aged care team. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.

As a Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents living in our aged care facility. Your support enables residents to retain independence and maximise their quality of life in a safe and nurturing environment.

Weekday shifts - Monday to Friday - AM + PM available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support (Ageing).
• Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home.
• Assist with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing and mealtimes.
• Assist with medication and simple wound dressings.
• Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
