Southern Cross Care (SA, NT & VIC) Inc. is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Darwin for a permanent part-time role (56 hours per fortnight). You will provide person-centred, safe, and effective support to clients at home, helping them maintain independence in familiar surroundings.

Applicants need Certificate III in Individual Support, 3+ months in personal care, First Aid/CPR, and a valid Australian driver’s licence with own vehicle. A motor vehicle allowance and travel time are payable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Aged Care, or Home & Community Care).
• Minimum of 3 months of personal care experience.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
• Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and own registered vehicle.
• Sound, best‑practice personal care skills.
• Strong Dementia care knowledge and client support basics.
• Excellent time management and relationship‑building abilities.

Responsabilités
