Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Melbourne's southeast suburbs is seeking an experienced QC Chemist to join the afternoon shift. This permanent, full-time role runs 3pm–11pm, Monday to Friday, reporting to the Quality department.

You will perform sampling, routine raw material analysis with basic wet chemistry, test and release packaging materials, and liaise with Warehouse for deliveries; GMP environment experience preferred. A BSc in Chemistry or related field and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals or related discipline.
Demonstrated industry experience within a GMP environment.
Understanding of chemistry techniques, including wet chemistry and analytical methods.
HPLC experience within a GMP environment is highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills and strong time management.

Responsibilities

Sampling of raw materials when required.
Routine analysis of raw materials using basic wet chemistry techniques and small instrumentation.
Test and release packaging materials and artwork.
Liaising with Warehouse personnel regarding raw material deliveries.
Analysis of intermediates and finished products when fully trained.
