Job summary

UniLodge Living Group is seeking a proactive Team Leader (After Hours) at ANU to guide the Community Support Officer team on shift, while staying engaged on the floor delivering frontline support within the residence. The role suits a calm, service-focused leader thriving in a fast-paced setting and aiming to advance operational leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• A valid National Police Check & Working with Vulnerable People’s check (or be willing to obtain).
• Prior experience in frontline operations or student/residential support roles, with a focus on wellbeing, safety, or security.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to guide, mentor and motivate a team on-shift.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing operational or administrative tasks.
• Flexible and reliable, able to work after-hours, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-shift leadership, guidance, and task management for smooth operations across all residences.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment by responding to incidents, emergencies, lockouts, and evacuations.
• Manage and prioritise after-hours incidents, liaising with emergency services and university stakeholders.
• Conduct building checks, monitor WHS and security risks, and manage access, maintenance, and facilities.
• Mentor CSOs through coaching, training, and feedback to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
