Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Sydney is seeking an experienced risk and compliance professional to support the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) compliance framework.

You will coordinate day-to-day AFSL governance, maintain registers, and work with Capital Markets, Legal, Finance and Ethics & Compliance to ensure processes stay accurate, auditable and current, with emphasis on ongoing improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail-oriented risk or compliance professional.
• Experience in compliance, risk, governance, legal operations or related operational support.
• Strong ability to maintain accurate records, registers and reporting evidence.
• Clear written and verbal communication with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the onboarding, annual declarations and ongoing compliance requirements of authorised representatives.
• Maintaining AFSL registers and records across transactions, training, incidents, complaints, breaches and compliance actions.
• Supporting transaction teams with AFSL governance, documentation, AML/KYC and due diligence requirements.
• Coordinating quarterly compliance reporting, audits, reviews and assurance activities.
• Acting as a practical point of contact for AFSL queries while supporting continuous improvement of guidance, templates and procedures.
