A leading defense technology company in Adelaide is seeking an Avionics Engineer to provide aerospace-related designs and analysis. Responsibilities include managing engineering workflows and ensuring compliance. Qualifications

• Experience in the Aviation industry as a Professional Engineer.

• Direct technical experience in aircraft related programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Aerospace related designs and analysis.
• Manage engineering workflow and backlog.
• Communicate engineering compliance issues.
• Manage delegated personal scope of the engineering workflow and backlog in coordination.
• Investigate and report engineering compliance issues to the Engineering and Technical Services Manager.
• Provide support and knowledge in Continuing Airworthiness Support.

Your Role

As the Avionics Engineer, you will provide Aerospace related designs, analysis and other technical support services. You will also be responsible for:

• Management and Administration in accordance with Northrop Grumman Work Instructions
• Development, Review and approval of engineering instruments before release to customers
• Manage the delegated personal scope of the engineering workflow and backlog in coordination
• Investigate, report and communicate engineering compliance issues to the Engineering and Technical Services Manager
• Provide support and knowledge in the Continuing Airworthiness Support

About You

As an experienced Aircraft Engineer, you must have:

• Experience as a Professional Engineer within the Aviation industry
• Experience and Knowledge around document/configuration management and project management tools
• Experience in mentoring and coaching technical staff

Desirable but not essential

• Direct technical experience in an aircraft related through Life Support Program
• Commercial/ Business management Acumen
• Experience with other Defence Contractors
