Rocketdyne is seeking two experienced Dimensional Inspectors to support inspection of aerospace components with very small features and tight tolerances. You will interpret detailed drawings and use precision measurement tools, including CMMs and vision systems, to verify conformance to specifications.

This is a 2nd shift role requiring strong collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams. Ideal candidates have a machining background with GD&T expertise and a proven track record in

• Experience in aerospace dimensional inspection and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use precision tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform dimensional inspection of aerospace components to verify conformance to drawings and quality standards.
• Inspect small and tight-tolerance parts with manual and automated equipment.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications and GD&T requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges and comparators.
• Operate and/or program CMMs and vision systems for verification.
• Develop manual inspection methods for hard-to-measure features.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances timely.
• Collaborate with machinists, manufacturing, engineering and quality teams to ensure parts print-compliance.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions for dimensional discrepancies.
• Maintain inspection records and comply with aerospace quality standards.
