Rocketdyne is seeking a Level 2 Non-Destructive Test Technician with RT and PT experience to inspect parts and assemblies for compliance with engineering, customer, and quality requirements.

Essential functions include performing Level 2 NDT inspections using RT and PT, interpreting results to standards, setting up and operating NDT equipment, and documenting results. The role supports manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams and may involve training Level 1 technicians.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass Level II Examinations in RT and PT (NAS410 desirable).
• GTAW, GMAW and EBW welding in aerospace environment knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of theory and procedures for qualifying NDT disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of NDT experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specs and procedures.
• Working knowledge of NDT standards and acceptance criteria.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PPT.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Level 2 NDT inspections using RT and PT.
• Interpret and evaluate results to standards and acceptance criteria.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
• Prepare and process parts for inspection.
• Document inspection results and maintain records.
• Identify and report nonconforming material or product conditions.
• Follow safety requirements, including radiation safety procedures.
• Support production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve inspection issues.
• Assist with training Level 1 technicians as needed.
