The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) invites applications for an Aeromedical Registrar in Mount Isa. This 12-month, 0.5 FTE role offers comprehensive training within a multi-disciplinary team delivering emergency retrievals and inter-facility transfers.

RFDS supports Fellowship training toward ACEM, ACRRM, ANZCA and CICM and maintains TS4-Special Skills Posts across Mount Isa, Cairns and Charleville bases. FIFO from Brisbane or live-in Mount Isa options apply.

Qualifikationen

• Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
• Minimum five years post-graduate experience.
• Senior Registrar on a pathway towards ACEM/ACRRM/ANZCA/CICM.
• Credentialing in critical care with QLD Health (>=6 months in ED/Anesthetics/ICU/Paediatrics).
• Prior Aeromedical Retrieval experience is ideal but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform Retrieval Services Queensland taskings: emergency retrievals and inter-facility transfers.
• Coordinate aeromedical retrievals with RSQ and referring facilities.
• Conduct handovers and provide telehealth to remote patients.
• Maintain medical records and participate in quality improvement activities.
