The Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD's RoadTek division in Brisbane seeks an Advisor (Operational Safety) to provide expert workplace health and safety guidance to operational teams and leaders, helping to strengthen safety capability and embed continuous improvement.

You will influence safe work practices, lead incident investigations, support audits and compliance, promote proactive risk management, deliver safety coaching, and build strong relationships across the business to

About the Role

As an Advisor (Operational Safety), you will provide expert and practical workplace health and safety advice to operational teams. You will support leaders in managing WHS obligations, strengthening safety capability, and embedding continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to safer workplaces.

In this role, you will:

• Provide operational WHS advice and support to managers, supervisors and employees.
• Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and monitoring safety outcomes.
• Support safety audits, inspections and compliance activities.
