Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Australia is seeking an Advisor, Injury Management to oversee workers' compensation and RTW programs across multiple sites. Based in Sydney or Brisbane, you will work with operational leaders, insurers and medical providers to drive timely, safe return to work and compliant injury management.

• Experience managing workers’ compensation, injury management and RTW programs.
• RTW Coordinator accreditation or equivalent experience.
• Clinical background highly regarded.

• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation and WHS legislation.
• Proven case management, rehabilitation and RTW experience.
• Experience partnering with insurers, medical and rehabilitation providers.
• Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Proactive, practical and customer-focused, with a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing and safe recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite injury triage, guidance, and timely escalation to ensure appropriate treatment pathways.

• Provide expert advice on workers compensation, rehabilitation, and legislative compliance.
• Monitor claims performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve outcomes and reduce costs.
• Prepare reports and insights to support compliance and business decision-making.
• Drive injury prevention initiatives and promote a positive safety culture.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with legislative and company requirements.
• Support and develop the Injury Management team practices and coach leaders on effective return-to-work practices.

This national role will play a key part in supporting injured employees, strengthening early intervention and return-to-work outcomes, and partnering with operational leaders to drive effective injury management across our business.

About the Role

As an Advisor, Injury Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the workers compensation and injury management function across multiple sites. Working closely with operational leaders, insurers, rehabilitation providers, and injured employees, you will drive positive injury management outcomes, ensure legislative compliance, and support employees in their safe and timely return to work. Key Responsibilities include:
