Job summary

Ord Minnett in Sydney is seeking a proactive Adviser Support Specialist to join the Platform, Product & Adviser Support team. You will be a key point of contact for platform and product enquiries, helping advisers navigate products, platforms and processes to support client outcomes.

You will collaborate with Operations, Compliance and external providers, monitor regulatory developments, support product initiatives, and gather adviser feedback to enhance the adviser and client experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification.
• Previous client service experience within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial services products and investment platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for platform and product-related enquiries, including operational issues, implementation timeframes, and training support.
• Keep Advisers and support staff informed of platform enhancements, product developments, and key business initiatives.
• Support Advisers in promoting, marketing, and cross-selling product offerings to clients and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and external providers to implement procedural and structural changes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in identifying impacts on relevant products and platforms.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies to help ensure Ord Minnett's product offering remains contemporary and competitive.
• Support strategic projects and initiatives in partnership with the Head of Platform, Product & Adviser Support.
• Gather, assess, and prioritise adviser feedback to enhance products, platforms, and the overall client experience.
