Job summary

Zurich Insurance in NSW is seeking an Advice Associate to join Zurich Assure, collaborating with advisers to translate complex customer needs into clear, high-quality advice. You’ll support research, strategy development and advice preparation while delivering compliant, customer-focused outcomes at scale.

The role offers opportunity to work with digital tools and AI, with emphasis on paraplanning excellence and strong technical support for financial planning and personal insurance.

Qualifications

• RG146 and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services or a relevant qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in financial planning or personal insurance
• Strong paraplanning or technical advice support experience
• Calm under pressure with strong prioritization
• Clear, concise and engaging communication style
• Customer-first mindset with integrity and great outcomes
• Collaborative yet able to work independently
• Life insurance knowledge and Xplan experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Explore and model smart advice strategies, products and providers
• Turn complex needs into clear, compliant recommendations
• Create accurate, audit-ready Statements of Advice
• Uncover customer needs to shape tailored strategies
• Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless advice experiences
• Harness digital tools, AI and insights to improve advice
