Western Power is offering a permanent Advanced Plant Operator role at Forrestdale, joining the Transmission Operations - Construction Team at the new South Metro Depot. You’ll provide multi-skilled non-trade support in substation construction and maintenance while ensuring safe, reliable network operation.
The role involves driving to support field crews across the transmission network, with periods away from home and lone working. Applicants must hold relevant licences and authorisations.

Spanning across 120,000 square meters , w ith the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
To provide 'multi skilled' non-trade support in an electrical team environment in the Substation Construction and Maintenance of the transmission electricity network in a safe, reliable and efficient manner to maintain the integrity of the network.
The role will involve large amounts of driving supporting the Field Crews across the Transmission network which will include times of working away from home and lone working.
