In this role, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of assigned non‑network infrastructure and asset maintenance and minor capital works across a diverse range of properties within our Property and Fleet portfolio. You will ensure all works meet agreed criteria while maintaining competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, scope and customer expectations.

Your Role in Action
  • Deliver facilities projects—planned/reactive maintenance and minor capital works—on time, within scope and budget, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Manage all projects in line with Western Power’s Project Methodology, Standards and Governance frameworks.
  • Prepare capital and minor works proposals using cost‑benefit analysis to support timely, budget‑aligned decision‑making.
  • Ensure facilities are safe, compliant, cost‑effective and optimised for long‑term asset performance.
  • Oversee all reactive/planned works, inspections and subcontractor activities to ensure high‑quality, compliant outcomes.
  • Manage end‑to‑end delivery of minor capital works, including scope development.
  • Ensure completion and approval of all safety and compliance documentation, including high‑risk work notifications.
  • Maintain compliance across properties through up‑to‑date documentation such as risk registers, evacuation diagrams, manifests and site drawings.
  • Conduct detailed asset inspections, update asset databases and action findings.
  • Drive continuous improvement in asset management practices, aligning with ISO 55001 and reducing total property and fleet costs.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Demonstrated extensive experience within a property or facilities management environment with a detailed understanding of asset management planning practices, maintenance principles, legislative requirements and safety management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering projects, preferably facilities / construction, utilising industry standard.
  • Trade‑based qualification or demonstrated minimum 5 years industry experience or a tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with initiative and independent judgement.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management with ability to manage several priorities.
  • Sound financial and budgeting experience with the ability to plan, estimate and budget projects of moderate complexity.
  • Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C‑A’.
