Job summary

Queensland Government, Logan Hospital Expansion Stage 2 project, is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist - Project Officer to lead planning and delivery of pharmacy services. You will collaborate with pharmacy leaders and the project team to drive innovative care models, coordinate new facilities and systems, and monitor progress with robust reporting to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Advanced clinical knowledge and understanding of contemporary, evidence-based healthcare practices and service delivery models.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and report on outcomes.
• Ability to lead change, work autonomously and develop innovative solutions in a complex healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading pharmacy service planning, redesign and improvement initiatives to support the hospital expansion.
• Researching innovative models of care and implementing new medication management systems and technologies.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to coordinate new pharmacy facilities, systems and services.
• Monitoring project progress, evaluating outcomes, managing risks and providing high-quality reports and advice to senior leaders.
• Supporting change management and the delivery of safe, efficient and person-centred pharmacy services.
