Job summary

Logan Hospital is expanding its pharmacy services as part of Stage 2. The Advanced Pharmacist – Project Officer will lead service planning, redesign and implementation, working with pharmacy leaders and the project team to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.

You will research new models of care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, monitor progress, manage risks and report to senior leaders, supporting change management in a complex health environment.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with AHPRA.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
• Ability to lead change in a complex healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy service planning, redesign and improvement initiatives for the hospital expansion.
• Research innovative care models and implement new medication management systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate new pharmacy facilities, systems and services.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, manage risks and provide reports to senior leaders.
