Job summary

Yancoal Australia Ltd is hiring for Multi Skilled Operators at Yarrabee Mine in Blackwater, QLD. You will operate heavy equipment including dozers, water carts, graders and haul trucks, and contribute to safe, efficient mining operations on a 7:7 day/night roster.

Reporting to the OCE / Supervisor, you will bring experience with mining equipment, strong safety awareness under Coal Mining Safety & Health Act, and the ability to work as part of a supportive, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating dozers, water carts, graders, and haul trucks in mining.
• Knowledge of Coal Mining Safety and Health Act regulations.
• Good communication in a mining environment.
• Current safety and medical/induction requirements valid on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (dozers, water carts, graders, haul trucks) safely.
• Maintain work area and comply with safety regulations.
• Rotate roster 7:7 day/night shifts.

We are looking for Multi Skilled Operators to join our team at Yarrabee located in Blackwater.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

Reporting to the OCE / Supervisor, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. We arelooking for individuals who are professional multi skilled operators across a range of equipmentinclude dozers, graders and diggers. The role will require you to be proficient in the safeoperation of the heavy machinery and equipment on site and demonstrate ownership of yourwork area.

Roster: 7:7, rotating day/night

Skills And Experience

• Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of Dozers, Watercarts, Graders &Haul Trucks within a mining or heavy industry environment
• Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal MiningSafety&Health Act and associated regulations.
• Sound communication skills within a mining environment
• Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues
• Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to a company culture
• Applicable Coal Competencies - signed by SSE/Delegate
• Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface)
• Maintain and possess a current Queensland Driver's licence
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical
