Job summary

Yarrabee Mine, part of Yancoal Australia Ltd, seeks an Experienced Advanced Operator for its Blackwater site. You will operate and maintain dozers, graders, watercarts and haul trucks, while upholding safety standards and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Roster is 7 days on, 7 off with rotating day/night shifts. Prior coal mining experience and standard induction/medical requirements are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining dozers, watercarts, graders and haul trucks in mining or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and related regulations.
• Strong communication skills within a mining environment.
• Hazard identification and prompt safety problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to contribute positively to a team culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment including dozers, watercarts, graders and haul trucks.
• Work safely, follow procedures and report hazards to supervision.
• Collaborate with crews and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Roster: 7:7 day/night rotation.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the OCE / Supervisor, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. We arelooking for individuals who are professional multi skilled operators across a range of equipmentinclude dozers, graders and diggers. The role will require you to be proficient in the safeoperation of the heavy machinery and equipment on site and demonstrate ownership of yourwork area.

Roster: 7:7, rotating day/night

Skills and Experience

As an experienced multi skilled operator in the Mining Industry you will posses the below attributes:

• Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of Dozers, Watercarts, Graders &Haul Trucks within a mining or heavy industry environment
• Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal MiningSafety&Health Act and associated regulations.
• Sound communication skills within a mining environment
• Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues
• Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to a company culture

Skills and Experience

• Applicable Coal Competencies - signed by SSE/Delegate
• Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface)
• Maintain and possess a current Queensland Driver's licence
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical
