Job summary
Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service in Tweed Heads NSW is seeking several Sonographers - Advanced (Maternal Fetal Medicine) to join Gold Coast Health. You will perform advanced ultrasound examinations, lead supervision and education of staff, and contribute to research in a world-class health setting.
The role requires qualification in Medical Ultrasound, ASAR accreditation, vaccination, and adherence to clinical protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Medical Ultrasound from a registered tertiary institution.
- ASAR accreditation.
- Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced, independent real-time ultrasound examinations.
- Produce sonographer reports for medical specialists.
- Perform examinations using independent professional judgement and established clinical protocols, standards and ethics.
- Provide active leadership in clinical practice supervision and education of staff and students.
- Apply clinical evidence that supports improvement in the provision of the ultrasound service.
