Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service – Brisbane QLD is seeking several Sonographers – Advanced (Maternal Fetal Medicine) to join Gold Coast Health. You will perform advanced, independent real-time ultrasound examinations and produce reports for medical specialists.

Qualifications

Graduate or postgraduate diploma in Medical Ultrasound from a registered institution.
ASAR accreditation is required.
Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
Tuberculosis screening is required.
Criminal History Screening will be conducted for new employees.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced, independent real-time ultrasound examinations.
Detect, evaluate and diagnose pathology in real-time and produce sonographer reports for medical specialists.
Perform examinations using independent professional judgement and established clinical protocols, standards and ethics.
Provide leadership in clinical practice supervision and education of staff and students.
Apply clinical evidence to improve the ultrasound service.
