Job summary

Scope is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker in Portland, VIC to provide person-centred support for customers to live independently and participate in the community.

You'll assist with daily living activities, health routines, and community access, following support plans and safety procedures. The role requires flexibility across shifts, a current VIC drivers licence, and checks like NDIS Worker Screening and WWCC. Training starts with paid orientation.

• Location: Portland, VIC
• Availability: Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts.

About You

• Provide person-centred support to help customers achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
• Support customers with daily living activities, personal care, health routines and community access.
• Follow support plans, behaviour support strategies and safety procedures.
• Use calm communication and positive approaches when responding to behaviours of concern.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Be reliable, patient and committed to delivering high-quality support.
• Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
• Full VIC Driver's Licence

You must have or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR
• Full VIC Driver’s licence
• International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
