Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is seeking experienced Technicians to join our dedicated team at Maules Creek mine, providing support and maintenance on a wide range of Operational Technology systems across the mine infrastructure and mobile fleet.

You will apply fault finding and problem-solving skills in a challenging and fast-paced environment that requires minimal response times, with relocation or accommodation options available to assist in joining the team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electronics and Telecommunications, Auto Electrical or Electrotechnology.
• Strong time management and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Site telecommunications including mesh, CCTV and industrial networks.
• Two-way radio systems and radio/Wi-Fi point to point links.
• Fleet management systems.
• IT and OT systems including network monitoring and security systems.
• Demonstrate visible safe work practices, managing risk and acting as safety role model every day.

Whitehaven Coal are seeking experienced Technicians to join our dedicated team at Maules Creek mine providing support and maintenance on a large variety of Operational Technology systems across the mine infrastructure and mobile fleet. You will utilise your strong fault finding and problem-solving skills in a challenging and fast paced environment which requires minimal response times.

What You’ll Do

• Working across a range of systems and technologies, you will deliver high quality solutions for:
• Site telecommunications including mesh, CCTV and industrial networks
• Two-way radio systems and radio/Wi-Fi point to point links
• Fleet management systems
• IT and OT systems including network monitoring and security systems
• Demonstrate visible safe work practices, managing risk and acting as safety role model every day

What You’ll Bring

• Trade qualification in either Electronics and Telecommunications, Auto Electrical or Electrotechnology (or other relevant tertiary certification)
• Strong time management, troubleshooting & problem-solving abilities
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
