Job summary

North West Hospital and Health Service in Mount Isa is seeking an Administration Support Officer to back the TRACC and Disaster Recovery teams. The role delivers confidential admin support, coordinates meetings, events and reporting, and acts as a key contact for stakeholders.

Two engagement types are available: temporary full-time commencing ASAP to 23 November 2026, and part-time 38 hours per fortnight to 30 June 2028.

Qualifications

• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Blue Card Check: Working with Children check required before appointment.
• Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks.
• Vaccination or immunity evidence for Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and TB.
• Probation may apply.

About the role

As the Administration Support Officer – Tackling Regional Adversity through Connected Communities (TRACC) and Disaster Recovery, you'll provide high quality, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the TRACC Clinician and Disaster Recovery team. You'll play an important role in keeping programs organised, connected and running effectively, while supporting initiatives that help individuals and communities impacted by adversity, disasters and other significant events.

This is a varied role where your organisation, communication and people skills will make a difference. You'll be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the coordination of meetings, events, communications, reporting and day-to-day program operations.
