Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking an Administration Officer to join the Sunshine Coast Health Endoscopy Service. The role provides confidential administrative support and acts as a key contact for patients, clinicians and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include procedure bookings, waitlist management and day-to-day admin operations.

Remuneration up to $103,600 p.a. with salary between $81,649 and $90,801 p.a., plus super and annual leave loading. Applications remain current for 12 months.

  • Undertake cultural assessment/risk screening to identify patient needs and optimise recovery on discharge.
  • Support admission and discharge planning for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

We're excited to welcome an Administration Officer to our Endoscopy Unit.The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Health Endoscopy Service. This position is a key point of contact for patients, clinicians and external stakeholders, supporting procedure bookings, waitlist and surveillance management, patient reception, admissions and discharges and day-to-day administrative operations.Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include:Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.Provide advice and support in the admission and discharge planning process for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients presenting to the Sunshine Coast Health.Undertake 'cultural assessment/risk screening' to identify patient needs and optimise the patient's recovery / outcomes on discharge from the acute care setting.Remuneration value up to $103,600 p.a., comprising salary between $81,649 - $90,801 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
