Queensland Health in Cairns is seeking an administrative support officer within the Corporate Governance Unit, with a primary focus on supporting Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (MHAODS) outreach.
You will perform a range of administrative duties, liaise with staff and the public in a sensitive, confidential and courteous manner, and assist MHAODS staff within a clinical team to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
Become a part of an exciting opportunity as this role is focused on providing high-quality administrative support within the Corporate Governance Unit, with a primary emphasis on supporting Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (MHAODS) outreach services.
The Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (MHAODS) delivers specialist mental health, alcohol and other drug services across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS). The service also provides support to neighbouring Hospital and Health Services, including Cape York, Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area regions. MHAODS is committed to ensuring individuals and communities have access to a comprehensive range of services, including clinical treatment, rehabilitation, disability support, early intervention, prevention, and mental health promotion programs.
