Job summary

Lindsay Australia Ltd at Derrimut Depot (Melbourne) seeks an experienced Administration Manager to lead from the front and oversee transport administration for a 200-strong, 24/7 operations team. Reporting to the 2IC Depot Manager, you’ll supervise a six-person administration team across seven days, drive accuracy, and lead performance improvement in a fast-paced environment.

As part of Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, you’ll ensure efficient pallet processes and logistics support

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within temperature-controlled transport.
• Excellent communication skills and approachable leadership.
• Strong knowledge of operations, pallet processes and HACCP or cold-chain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the administration team
• Ensure adequate resourcing to meet operational demands
• Oversee manifesting accuracy of despatched loads
• Manage driver debriefing when needed
• Ensure pallet administration accuracy and timely processing
• Become subject matter expert in administration systems and processes
• Train and support team on systems and processes
• Set performance expectations and manage outcomes
• Lead from the front in a hands-on environment
• Partner with Depot Management to maximise site efficiency
