Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an experienced Administration and Project Coordinator to support NICHE implementation and the Chief Medical Officer Operations across multiple divisions. The role focuses on coordinating operational improvements, stakeholder engagement and timely project delivery within a complex healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will work with divisional leadership, health information systems teams and clinical staff, driving efficiency and safe, quality service

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful project delivery in healthcare from initiation to full delivery.
• Knowledge of Health Information systems and workflows in public healthcare.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• High degree of understanding of health delivery, legislative, information and reporting systems.
• High degree of self-direction, initiative and ability to work toward deadlines/milestones.
• Excellent and proven project management disciplines.
• Exceptional ability to negotiate and influence others.
• Highly developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills to facilitate solutions and change.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.

We are seeking an experienced Administration and Project coordinator. The NICHE Implementation Administration Coordinator will focus on supporting the Divisional Director NICHE and Head Of CMO Operations to smoothly implement the key projects including operational and NICHE projects improvement projects across the division.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role will focus on supporting the Divisional Director NICHE and Head Of CMO Operations to smoothly implement the key projects including operational and NICHE projects improvement projects across the division. This role will work with key stakeholders across the organisation including (but not limited to) divisional leadership teams; Division of Medicine and Cancer Services, Division of Emergency Services, Division of Surgery, Outpatients and Community Hospitals, Division of Allied Health, Division of Mental Health Services, to support operational impacts and services delivery. This role will also support strategic planning including improving efficiency, with quality and safety focus.

This role is responsible for project managment, leading operational improvements, stakeholder engagments, delviery of key projects on time, strategic planning, monitoring and performance reporting as well as stakeholder management with a range of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven track record of successful project delivery within Healthcare from initiation through to full project acceptance.
• Proven knowledge of Health Information systems and workflows in public healthcare settings which also requires a good understanding of supporting technologies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
• High degree of understanding of health delivery, legislative, information and reporting systems.
• High degree of self- direction, initiative and motivation and ability to work towards set deadlines/milestones.
• Excellent and proven project management disciplines.
• Exceptional ability to negotiate and influence others.
• Highly developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills to facilitate solutions and implement effective change management.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.
