Barwon Health’s Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services provide care and support to people living with major mental illness and/or alcohol and drug issues across the Geelong region. Our teams work from a number of community and inpatient locations, and our administration staff play a key part in making sure every consumer receives a courteous, efficient and welcoming service.
In this role, you’ll be part of our Eating Disorder Day Program team, providing reception and administrative support that helps the program run smoothly for consumers, their families and the clinical team. You’ll often be the first point of contact for people attending the program, so a warm, calm and respectful approach is essential. If you take pride in being organised, enjoy being part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team and want your work to make a real difference, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a specialist service within a large public health organisation.
You’ll be an organised and professional administrator who communicates courteously with consumers, families and staff and treats patient information with care and confidentiality.
It would be great if you also have experience in a human services setting, familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of databases such as TCM, BOSSnet, Rapid or IPM (training is provided).
Please note Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.
