Job summary

Anglicare is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Donington Court, Castle Hill residential care team. The role provides efficient support to the home and ensures smooth day-to-day operations.

Permanent full-time position based at Donington Court, Castle Hill. You will handle general admin tasks, resident records, reception duties, and light finance under guidance from the Residential Manager.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification (desirable).
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in an administrative or customer service role.
  • Experience working with older people or in an aged care setting (desirable).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (desirable).

  • Complete general administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, emailing, and mail distribution.
  • Maintain and improve administrative procedures and systems.
  • Organise meetings, events, and functions as required.
  • Process work orders and supply orders promptly.
  • Update resident files per Commonwealth, Anglicare, WHS and Rehabilitation guidelines.
  • Keep administrative records and databases accurate and up to date.
  • Attend residents, visitors, couriers at reception with a professional service.
  • Assist with basic financial processes as directed by Residential Manager and leadership.
  • Comply with safe work practices and participate in workplace consultation and safety activities.

Anglicare has an exciting opportunity for an administrative assistant to be part of Donington Court, Castle Hill Residential care team. The aim of this role is to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Residential care home, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

This is a Permanent full time based at Donington Court, Castle Hill.

Responsibilities
  • Complete general administrative tasks, including word processing, filing, emailing, and mail distribution.
  • Maintain and improve administrative procedures and systems.
  • Organise meetings, events, and functions as required.
  • Process work orders and supply orders in a timely manner.
  • Update resident files in accordance with Commonwealth, State, Anglicare, WHS, and Rehabilitation guidelines.
  • Ensure all administrative records and databases are accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Attend to residents, visitors, couriers, and trades people at the reception desk, providing a professional and welcoming service.
  • Assist with basic financial processes as directed by the Residential Manager and leadership team.
  • Comply with safe work practices and participate in workplace consultation activities.
  • Actively engage in safety activities, including hazard and incident reporting as prescribed in the WHSIMS.
