The Royal Melbourne Hospital invites applications for an Administration Assistant in the Sub-Acute Ambulatory Care Services. The role supports community therapy services, clinics, and post-acute care with clinic bookings, reception, data entry, and a broad range of admin tasks.

Join a dedicated team providing patient-centered administrative support, reporting to the Practice Manager and SACS leadership. Part-time ongoing role with 32 hours per fortnight at RMH Parkville Campus.

Qualifications

  • Excellent PC, MS Office and database management skills.
  • Energetic administration skills including data entry, telephone management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support working within the Sub acute services.
  • Generate and input of data and reporting, telephone management, invoicing, reception and a broad range of administrative duties.
  • Make significant contributions to the ongoing success of the SACS team.
  • Develop processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy is maintained.

About the role

Join the Sub Acute Ambulatory Care Services (SACS) team and provide professional, patient-focused administrative support across Community Therapy Services, Specialist Clinics, Direct Access and Post-Acute Care.

As a SACS Administration Assistant, you will be a key point of contact for patients and referring services, supporting clinic bookings, reception, data entry and a broad range of administrative activities. Working closely with the Practice Manager, SACS Manager and clinical teams, you will help maintain efficient, accurate and patient-focused administrative processes.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide administrative support working within the Sub acute services
