LEC Recruitment's client, a well-established Bayside area business, is seeking a Stores Person/Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Driver to manage all aspects of their warehouse operations. You will handle inbound containers, allocate storage, pick, despatch, and assist with despatch software while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.00pm, with an hourly rate of 32–35 AUD depending on experience.

• Plan for incoming containers to be unloaded, checking and recording of all incoming goods and labelling with product and date of arrival.
• Allocating goods to appropriate storage and picking for despatch.
• Despatching goods and entering information into despatch software.
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Attend to despatch customers and distributor collections to uphold service levels.
• Arrange and consolidate warehouse stock in alignment with OH&S Standards.
• Keep work area clean and free from debris and ensure a clean despatch area and warehouse.

Our client, a third-generation family business, market leaders and innovators specialising in adhesive tapes across Australia wide is seeking an experienced Stores Person/Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Driver to manage all aspects of their Warehouse functions.

Duties include :

• Plan for incoming containers to be unloaded, checking and recording of all incoming goods and labelling with product and date of arrival. Count and record rejected products and scrap material
• Allocating goods to appropriate storage
• Picking goods from Jiwa allocation and preparing for despatch
• Assisting with selection of rewinding materials
• Putting away any materials that aren’t required for slitting
• Allocating finished goods from machines to despatch
• Packing pallets for safe and secure travel on transport vehicles including labelling pallets and other goods with address labels
• Despatching goods and entering information into applicable despatch software. Consignment and despatch of goods
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other delivery vehicles
• Attend to despatch customers and distributor collections to uphold our service levels
• Arranging and consolidating warehouse stock in alignment with O&HS Standards
• Keep work area clean and free from debris, ensuring a clean despatch area and warehouse
• Ensuring all returns are recorded and reported to Customer Service for actioning of the register
• Ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of warehoused goods
• Perform any other duties as directed by Production Supervisor
• Forklift Driving

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 6.00am - 2.00pm

Hourly Rate: $32 - $35 (depending on experience)
