Job summary

Happy Hearts Childcare & Kindergarten – Caboolture QLD is seeking an Admin Assistant to be the friendly first contact for families and visitors, providing essential administrative support to the Centre.

You will manage enrolments, bookings and waitlists, handle CCS and childcare software, and support the management team with compliance and documentation while maintaining confidentiality. Previous childcare admin experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Friendly, approachable and family-focused requirement for interacting with families.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential.
  • Confident using computers and administrative systems in a busy childcare setting.
  • Previous childcare admin experience is valued but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming families and visitors with a warm, professional manner.
  • Handling phone calls, emails and enrolment enquiries.
  • Managing enrolments, bookings and waitlists.
  • Assisting with CCS, childcare software and general admin tasks.
  • Supporting management with compliance and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.

The Role

As our Admin Assistant, you will be the friendly first point of contact for families and visitors while providing essential administrative support to the Centre.

The successful applicants should be committed to engaging with children and families in a variety of ways.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Welcoming families and visitors with a warm and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls, emails and enrolment enquiries
  • Managing enrolments, bookings and waitlists
  • Assisting with CCS, childcare software, and general admin tasks
  • Supporting the management team with compliance and documentation
  • Always maintaining confidentiality
About You:
  • Friendly, approachable and family-focused
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident using computers and administrative systems
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Previous childcare admin experience highly regarded (but not essential)
