Job summary

AG Security Group in Adelaide is seeking a professional Security Guard in a Level 2 role to protect clients and colleagues across a 24/7 operation. The position involves liaising with clients, performing site checks, patrolling, and reporting incidents using radios, logbooks, and CCTV systems.

You will need a current SA Security Licence, a valid SA Driver's Licence, a First Aid Certificate HLTAID0003, and a Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high standards of customer service and integrity.
• Possesses current SA Security Licence and Driver's Licence.
• Holds valid First Aid Certificate HLTAID0003.
• Has Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Able to operate CCTV and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, visitors, employees and the public to deliver excellent service.
• Confirm eligibility of entrants per client policies.
• Report incidents using radio, logbooks and other systems.
• Monitor CCTV and operate associated equipment.
• Utilise Email, Word and Excel as required.
• Work collaboratively with team members and follow safety procedures.
• Perform regular foot patrols and respond to hazards.
• Flexibly cover day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts.

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and motivated Security Guard to join our team in a Level 2 Security Officer position. As a representative of AG Security Group, you will play a key role in upholding our reputation as a leader in the security industry and delivering high-quality service to our valued clients.

This site operates on a 24/7 basis, with 12-hour shifts available across both day and night rosters, Monday through Sunday.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Liaising and delivering exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, employees and members of the public


• Confirming eligibility of persons entering the site as per client and policies


• Use appropriate methods of communication (e.g., radio, phone, logbooks) to report incidents and issues


• Monitor and operate CCTV cameras & associated equipment


• Use computer systems, including Email, Word and Excel, as required


• Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with fellow Team Members


• Compliant with Health and Safety requirements, identifying and reporting all hazards and risks, then responding proactively


• Conduct regular foot patrols


• Following AG Security Group's policies and procedures, work instructions, standard operating procedures and safety requirements


• Flexibility to work days, afternoons, nights, and weekends, in line with the 24/7 operational nature of our organisation

Applicants must demonstrate that they possess the following

• Current South Australian Security Licence


• Current South Australian Driver's Licence


• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID0003


• Current Working with Children Check


• Completion of a National Police Check will be required as part of the onboarding process
