Pacific Life Re Australia seeks a Manager for Actuarial Analytics & Insights to lead the delivery of actuarial results across accounting bases (US GAAP, IFRS17, LAGIC) and support capital management for the Australian entity. The role requires collaborating with CA, DBS, and Finance teams, guiding modelling changes, and driving continuous improvement within Project Unify.

Qualificações

• Qualified actuary with minimum of 5 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsurance.
• Experience with actuarial modelling software and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of IFRS17 and LAGIC, including modelling complexities; US GAAP experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of improving processes and leading change.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and summarise actuarial model outputs for multiple bases for the Pacific Life Re Australia entity.
• Support capital management processes and annual calibration of internal targets and key reports.
• Develop actuarial methodology across reporting bases and maintain validation reports.
• Provide oversight and guidance to other AA&I team members and coordinate with global CA teams.
• Collaborate with DBS functions (Finance, R&D) to support reporting obligations.
• Participate in Project Unify and drive continuous improvement in modelling processes.
